Health Center in Uganda

AmeriAxis Foundation has officially opened a new health center in rural Uganda, providing life-saving medical care to communities that previously had no access to healthcare. The facility offers primary care, maternal health services, and health education.

Transforming Healthcare Access

Located in a remote district, the health center serves over 10,000 people who previously traveled hours to reach the nearest clinic. The center is staffed by trained local health workers and equipped with essential medical supplies.

  • Primary Care: Treatment for malaria, respiratory infections, and common illnesses
  • Maternal Health: Prenatal care, safe delivery, and postnatal support
  • Health Education: Community workshops on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Vaccination Services: Immunizations for children and adults

Community Partnership

The health center was built in partnership with local Ugandan health authorities and community leaders. Local staff were trained to ensure sustainability and cultural competence.
